Repertoire: the premiere of Dean Stevenson's first string quartet 'The Monster and the Lake'. Perfomed by Miranda Carson and Phoebe Masel (violin), Caleb Wright (viola), Nicholas McManus (cello) alongside artwork by Tasmanian artist Alex Wanders.

Inventi Ensemble ‘Art of Fugue’ - 12 August 7pm

Location: Primrose Potter Salon, Melbourne Recital Centre.

Repertoire: a new arrangement of J.S Bach’s unfinished ‘Art of Fugue’ with a world premiere of Kym Dillon’s ‘Afterword’ commissioned by Inventi as an ending to Bach’s mammoth Contrapunctus XIV.

Birdsong — 25 February 7pm

Phoebe Masel, alumni of the Australian National Academy of Music and vocalist and electronic music artist Exquisite Corpse performed music by Ross Edwards and Haydn alongside improvisation on Australian birdsong. A very special evening for all who were in the room.

Musicians: Lily Nalder (Exquisite Corpse) and ANAM alumni Meg Cohen, Ruby Shirres and Nick McManus.
